Advertising on the internet has become a huge industry. Space on your web browser is a valuable commodity to advertisers. Advertising dollars enable companies/web sites to provide services for free, give products away for free, and some companies will pay you for the ads you view! On top of that, they will pay you for the ads that your referrals view! Some people can make a decent living off of these programs with enough referrals. I have been a member of/participated in some of these companies for many months now, and I am enjoying the fact that they pay you just to flash some advertisements by you when you are online. I haven't made astronomical numbers, but there's a lot of potential, so get started now!
The latest one to release their ad bar to me. The Surf Window runs well and they are paying $.35/hr up to 35 hrs (at 1024x768 or higher resolution). If an ad appeals to you, simply click on it and the advertiser's site will open up (you are not required to click on any ads if you don't want to). Just got the adbar for this program recently, it's called the "piggy". It works pretty well, and it pays when doing anything while connected, extremely nice if you have a constant connection. There is no hourly limit either! This is one of the very few ( if not the only one) that pays so well (currently they pay approximately $.60/hr) without an hourly limit. They do have a dollar amount limit, however, of $50/mo on your hours alone (this doesn't include $$$ from referrals), but come on, how long would it take to get to $50 anyways? This is my first program, they have slowed down a bit but they are the first ones to send me checks and paid me over $300.00 so far. The Viewbar™ (as their ad bar is called) is very easy to use, it docks nicely to the bottom or top of your browser, staying out of your way when browsing the web. They have cut down the hourly rate to $.20 an hour, they now are pushing an alternative sweepstakes deal where you earn entries for daily and weekly winnings. Ignifuge doesn't actually give you an ad bar for your
browser, they want you to frequently visit their web site where they link you to various web sites that contain
ads and useful (mostly free) content. Their payment system is based on the amount of times you visit their web
site. You get $.50 per 10 visits, $.20 per 10 visits of your direct referrals, and $.10 per 10 visits of indirect

This is one that pays per ad view instead of hourly. This is another one that pays for being active while doing anything on your computer, not just browse the internet, as long as you're connected, you'll get ad views. Perfect for those of us with cable, DSL, 2nd phoneline, any constant connection. The paybar is pretty small and you can move it around the screen to wherever is convenient, usually depends on what type of activity you've got going. They will pay you $.60 for every 1000 ads you view. For every person you refer they will pay you $.15 for every 1000 ads your referrals view, and for every person your referral refers up to four levels deep you will receive $.05 for every 1000 ads they view.
